Hide & Seek RPG U Con Ashcan PDF Available Now!

I've been talking about the U Con ashcan edition of Hide & Seek for a minute. You've had the chance to buy my leftover stock, but there's only so much of that to go around, so I'm happy to announce the release of the pdf! Initially, this pdf will only be available to folks who have paid for Hide & Seek. I sincerely appreciate their support and currently, that appreciation is looking an awful lot like a candid peek into Hide & Seek's future, development-wise.

The Ashcan's "ToC" Page
Because there is going to be development!

Over the next few months, I'll be putting together some supplemental content for Hide & Seek, much like the "Hiding & Seeking" post I made a little while back. My plan is to develop content for Hide & Seek in the open, giving players & GMs the opportunity to use the new content and guidance as I come up with it. Then, in advance of Spooky Season next year (2025 if you're coming to this late), I want to do a print run. I'm planning on basing this release on much of the work done for the U Con Ashcan Edition, but with some refinements and improvements, along with 4-8 pages of new content.

In January, I plan on releasing the first of at least two supplemental sets of Secrets: Snow Day. I've lived in Michigan for much of my life, where Snow Days are a regular thing: a day lost to school and responsibilities where kids can just spend the day free from responsibilities, indulging their every whim... and curiosity. Snow Day will be a set of 13 completely new secrets, along with some additional suggestions on running games in the wintery cold. Jack from DNGN CLUB has signed on to do another one-page layout for Snow Day.

When Snow Day is released, my plan is to offer it at the $1 or more level here on Itch.io, and move the U Con Ashcan out from behind the paywall. Think of it kind of like a temporary Patreon: by paying at least $1 for Hide & Seek, you're getting an inside look at everything coming down the pike before anyone else. Unlike Patreon, though, this is a one-time thing; if you've paid for Hide & Seek at all (well, at least $1), you get access to the latest thing I've made for Hide & Seek.

If this is a stupid idea, please let me know! Marketing an indie RPG is always a crap shoot!
